These things we do,
That hurt one,
And please another,
How are they real?
Is the pain real?
Is the pleasure real?

How do we know if this is reality, or a dream?
Both are real, but one is fake,
So which is real, and how am I to tell?
One copies the other,
And one leads the way,

And so then in both worlds I am crushed yet again,
By things in my past, both recent and old,
I relive them again, once more and again,
The pain just as harsh, and feelings as real,
Here I am again, not sure where I am,
I know but one thing, and one thing alone,
Pain is in my past,
Pain is my present,
Pain is in my future,
Pain is my future,
Pain, is me…

If the blood is to make the wound better,
And the pain to make the healed skin feel even better,
Then I have my blood,
And I have my pain,
But my wounds are still open,
I’m still hurting,
And I’m still bleeding,
So when will I heal?
I guess its just a matter of time…
